Alexandra Martin - Peterlee, County Durham

Alexandra Martin is a singer/songwriter/guitarist based in the North East. She is currently broadening her skills in digital music and digital media at Teeside University where she is working on writing music for film and expanding her teaching knowledge.
Her influences are broad and eclectic, she has worked as a singer/songwriter and producer in many fields including blues, jazz improvisation, rock, funk and is now studying classical music.
She has experience of working in the studio, on board ship,in duos, trios and bands, and has worked with childhood hero, US rock band "Boston," guitarist Gary Pihl.

Alexandra trained formally and in the field with renowned teachers such as Carol Grimes (Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club) and Adam White (Sheffield University). Alex currently works as a solo performer.
She has a wealth of experience as a teacher and has taught sports, swimming, yoga, voice and body work to all age groups and is happy to focus on the things that are important to you and your needs as a singer, or public speaker be they professional or for fun.
