Chioma Duru-Sachs. - Welham Green, Hatfield

Chioma draws upon her extensive experience as a singer/songwriter and performer to give her vocal lessons the edge that students require to succeed in singing. She began her musical career in a band called Charma Brash, a dance-pop duo performing their original material on the London gigging scene. She then went solo, working with Salvation International, performing her own songs as well as covers across Europe. This gave her an opportunity to experiment with and develop different vocal styles. In addition, Chioma has extensive experience as a session singer and backing vocalist for various rising stars and established performers. She is also currently coaching several X-Factor and other talent show contestants, touring artists and theatre performers. “I pride myself on my ability to bring each singer’s latent vocal talent to the forefront using fun and practical techniques. It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner or an experienced singer.”

She performs regularly at venues across the country and has recently graced the stage at the prestigious Hackney Empire, London. She also performs extensively at European venues.

 

She currently has a number of songs published with Big World Publishing and continues to work on her own music, co-writing with other artists and producers, notably with Morgan King from the acclaimed dance and ambience label Accidental Music.

As well as vocal techniques for improving the quality and projection of the singing voice, she also specialises in the performance aspects of singing, gaining confidence and building stamina.

She has worked on the nationwide Idol Contest 2008, preparing students for auditions, judging and flying the Vocaltutor flag! Chioma teaches in all styles of music ranging from RnB to Musical Theatre, from Pop to Soul and more.

Sessions with Chioma are 1 hour, however, 30 minutes, 1.5 hours and 2 hour lessons are also available.
All backing tracks, exercises and materials are included in the cost. Also included in the price is access outside lesson times by email or phone.
