Dylan Charles - Knottingley, West Yorkshire

Dylan Axup is a multi-instrumentalist, playing drums, piano, bass guitar & guitar as well as singing. Whilst being the singer and drummer in the rock band Rattlebox, he has performed in America, Germany, Holland, Dubai and in venues all over the United Kingdom - including Covent Garden, the Royal Festival Hall in London, and Party in the Park Music Festival in Scotland.

Dylan has written well over 300 songs since the age of 13; highlights include the songs on all four Rattlebox CDs which were received with great critical acclaim internationally, two musicals for schools (which he also directed) and songs for other recording artists. Dylan is an accomplished music producer and has produced albums in various studios, including Abbey Road and LIPA.

The summer of 2006 saw the premiere production of his rock opera Enchanted, which he co-wrote with Timothy Allen and Emily Carding. This production played to nearly a thousand people over two nights at Pontefract Valley Gardens, and has launched the careers of several aspiring actor/singers.

Dylan has taught privately and in schools since 2002, teaching all ages, styles and abilities.

He is a passionate musician who specialises in boosting self-confidence and making lessons fun and enjoyable for all concerned.
