Elli has worked within the Performing Arts Industry for over 30 years. She worked in the Music Industry as a professional singer for over twenty years before turning her hand to acting. Elli has sung in venues around the world and has extensive experience as a session singer and backing vocalist with established artistes and rising stars. She has a great deal of experience in most genres and styles of singing and acting, having worked in theatre, television and international touring. She has had her own recording and publishing deal. Just recently, she joined a new band and is enjoying the experience of singing live again!

You will learn all the necessary techniques to come across as a confident public performer. Reflex breathing, correct vocal support, physicalization skills, holding the attention of your audience and confidence building using Ellis extensive knowledge and experience.

Elli is a big advocate of using Visualisation techniques within singing and has done much research into this as a way of tapping into each potential singer’s ability and confidence. She also is a great believer is singing being fun and this shows in her style of teaching!

Elli has a Ba Hons Degree in Performing Arts and has just recently gained her PGCE. She has done guest Singing Workshops at Universities and private performing academies’ alike. She is very experienced at teaching children aged 9 – 16years old and runs a regular Community Singing Workshop at her local Arts Centre.

Lessons with Elli are on a one-to-one basis and are made up of technical work and exercises, songs and performance techniques. Whether you want to sing for just your own pleasure, for school or college/university exams, to improve your karaoke skills or with a view to going into the Performing Arts Industry, these lessons will prove an invaluable tool.

Recording Studio is available when both Elli and you feel is the right time to record your voice.

Sessions with Elli are an hour long at her home but she is available for longer or shorter lessons ( 30 minutes or 1.5 hours). Included in the price is access outside lesson times by email or phone. Elli can also travel within a 10 mile radius of her home in Thornton, Bradford and the price for lesson will be adjusted accordingly.
