Fiona Springer - Nairn, Inverness

Birmingham born Fiona Louise Springer relocated to London in 2003 where she began training at the prestigious ‘Vocal Tech’ vocal school in West London, studying for a Diploma and a Degree in popular music performance.

She finished with a 2:1 in May 2007.

Fiona’s interest in music began at an early age; she started learning the flute and this encouraged her knowledge of music theory. At the same time, Fiona was singing solos in school concerts, and classical songs in her local church for weddings.

For the last eight years, besides studying, Fiona has been singing lead vocals for a funky blues jazz band (‘Jeff the Newt’), backing vocals for one of Britain’s top function bands (‘Chris Poole and the Shades’) and also for a blues band from the Midlands (‘Short Notice’), as well as providing lead vocals in recording sessions.

Most weekends Fiona can be heard singing at weddings and corporate functions, and she often spends New Year’s Eve singing in foreign climes such as Dubai and Djibouti.

Fiona teaches many styles including Pop, Musical Theatre, R‘n’B, Soul, Classical, Country, Reggae and Rock. All ages, all abilities!

Work covered in sessions will include – Breath control, Range Building, Flexibility, Agility and much more.
