Nelda Kuzuma - Finchley, North London Hi! I am a performer, singer/songwriter, teacher and a pianist. Over the years I have undergone various vocal and other music courses, the most recent being BMus in Popular Music Performance at London College of Music, TVU, London (speciality vocals). During the degree course I was taught by many vocal specialists - the succesful session singer Kim Chandler, jazz vocalist/pianist Ian MacKenzie and Sara Raybould. Right before my degree I completed a one year diploma course with distinction at the prestigious vocal school 'Vocaltech', Tech Music Schools, London. I love contemporary music - rock, jazz, funk and old R&B are my favourites. Currently I provide lead vocals for the rock project Krona (www.myspace.com/thekrona), as well as write/record my own compositions in a jazzier style (www.myspace.com/neldak). I have a vast experience in performing as a lead singer and as a backing vocalist/session singer. I have performed at many famous festivals and venues - Brick Lane Festival, Nottingham Hill Festival, St. Andrew's University, Shepherds Bush Empire, Barfly, Monto Water Rats, 229, Bull & Gate, Storm and others. Also I have recently opened my own Independent Record Label 'Loose Brick Records' that is undergoing a creation of the website and other legal matters.
What to expect from my lessons? The lessons are given at my home studio - recording facilities and learning material provided. The lessons are structured depending on every individual needs/experience. You will learn more about your voice, the contemporary singing techniques and the way of applying the required techniques to a specific song. ...and most importantly about how not to loose your originality! So tell me your goals and I will structure the lessons, so that you are able to achieve them.
Regards, Nelda Testimonials
