Rebecca Phillips has been a vocal coach for over 4 years. She works with both signed and unsigned recording artists, X  Factor auditionees (including Sophie Habibis who was one of the last few on xfactor this year and Joe Cox who made it through to the judges houses stages), students struggling with pitching and breathing problems, West End singers, singers of all ages looking to increase their range and power and those who like to just sing for fun.

Rebecca Phillips is an experienced vocal coach and is also a singer / recording artist in her own right. Along with first hand experience in the challenges of a being a vocalist, she has a BA Honours Degree in Music Production which makes her an expert on the recorded voice as well as the live voice and she continually trains with the British Vocal Association. Rebecca has also worked as a vocal coach at universities and schools as well as on projects for local government.

Rebecca teaches vocal technique to help students convey emotion, expand their range and experiment with different tones and styles. She concentrates on teaching students to sing safely and how to get the maximum longevity out of your voice.

With an in-depth knowledge of vocal techniques for contemporary POP, ROCK, GOSPEL, SOUL and JAZZ, Rebecca teaches vocal techniques that allow the singer to be the best that they can be.

Rebecca specialises in vocal technique, coaching and working on repertoire. She caters her lessons to each student. She employs techniques that allow the singer to make the sounds that they want: correctly, safely and with the least effort to the voice. She teaches students warm-ups and exercises to keep their voices supple and long-lasting and she dedicates time to helping the vocalist sing their songs the way that they want to sing them.

Rebecca's strengths as a vocal coach can be put down to her vocal training courses and my experience as a teacher.

However, working in the industry as a singer / songwriter etc has given her an extra knowledge on the music and vocal industry that others may not have had. This work has included the following
