
![]() | Clyde Parry - Southport Clyde started in the music industry at the very tender age of 13 playing guitar in Sefton Youth Jazz Orchestra, being noticed then by a famous trumpeter named Digby Fairweather, who gave him the honor of playing along side himself and his partner Stan Barker on the theatre circuit in the Northwest. When Clyde was 15 he then went on to play with his parents in a family band touring the holiday camps and club land in and around the Merseyside and Lancashire area, but this time he also gave backing vocals. Being the youngest to get accepted into After touring venues with the likes of The Detroit’s and as a solo guitar vocalist for the last 8 years - covering an array of styles, from Elvis Presley, Boyzone to Michael Buble - Clyde recently caught the attention of Radio Merseyside’s Billy Butler and Norman Thomas who, through public demand, interviewed him, talking and reviewing his new cd featuring the song ‘If you’re not the one’ (Quoted by Bobby Socks, saying; ‘A dynamic and challenging main vocal complemented by an ultra high harmony, Best voice I’ve heard in years’). Recently Clyde got asked to be featured on a track called “Memories” by rap artist ‘Stock’ who’s last song was featured in the movie ‘White Chicks’, with his recent record deal , the track will hopefully be released very shortly.
