Tutor of popular music genres such as rock, pop, r+b and soul singing and specialising in powerful vocals.

Tara has been passionate about singing since she could make noise and has lots of experience performing in and organising events for covers band and choirs in the West Midlands, Chester and Manchester with clients such as P+O Cruises and also writing material and singing in various pop and alternative bands. Tara has previously taught singing at Stagecoach theatre school and has obtained a MA in Music Performance, specialising in vocals, from The University of Salford and a BA in Popular Music from the University of Chester. She is currently lead vocalist and songwriter for alternative band Inaura and project manager of Alternative Life Manchester, organising band nights around Manchester's live music venues.Tara will cater a lesson to develop your own style within your chosen genre and for those who want to achieve powerful vocals Tara can offer exercises and relaxation techniques used in speech therapy to help relieve tension to reach those high notes with ease. 

Tara encourages healthy vocal use and the responsibility to adopt healthy vocal habits between sessions lies with the student. Any exercises taught should be used as part of a healthy vocal routine and the student will be responsible for proper use of the voice. If there are any problems with the larynx advice should be sought from a medical professional.
