Anne is a highly experienced singer and musician, who sings and plays in many different styles, ranging from classical to pop, jazz, show tunes, folk and blues.

She has over 10 years live performing experience in various bands and groups, and has played to audiences of thousands on several occasions. She presently fronts her own four piece jazz band, "Body and Soul" as the singer/ pianist. She and also goes out as a solo pianist/singer or in duos/trios. She plays violin and sings in the popular folk/rock band, Fiddlers Elbow and sings with Decibelles: a 10 piece all female vocal group. Anne also plays jazz and classical music in a violin/guitar duo called "Atmospherics."
In the past she has sung in all sorts of other groups, including a contemporary folk duo, a ceilidh band, a modern, original classical quartet, Suffolk Opera and various choirs.
Although she mainly sings jazz, she is happy to teach all styles of singing - indeed she believes that there is a lot to be learned and enjoyed from singing many different sorts of music. Her training includes four years as a chorister at a choir school, private singing lessons, grade 8 (distinction) in violin, grade 5 theory. Anne studied music to A level and plays jazz piano professionally, having studied it intensively for the last 7 years.

Anne began working as a vocal coach and piano teacher in 2006 and absolutely loves it. "So many people long to take singing lessons but just can't bring themselves to take that final step. If you are one of those people I urge you to give it a go. The sooner you start the longer you will have to enjoy your voice."
