Shanice has performed with major recording artists as a featured vocalist in both Europe and the UK, is a regular session vocalist and performs with London's high end contemporary function and corporate bands. Currently working on her artist project, Shanice is regularly in the studio writing and recording her original music with some of most talented producers in the industry. Regularly performing at some of London’s most credible venues, including the O2/Arts Club/Ronnie Scott's etc, she is fortunate enough to work and perform with an array of talented musicians.

Shanice discovered her passion and love of music and performing at a very young age. A former Music & Media graduate of London’s prestigious BRIT School for Performing Arts, and always keen to perfect her art, Shanice has steered her education and training towards developing her music and performance skills. Graduating university in 2013 with a BMus (Hons) in Music & Performance.

Shanice has been teaching Vocals and Performance since 2010, both privately 1-2-1 and with various stage academies and schools in the London area, working at all levels from beginners to the more advanced. Shanice specialises in the ages 8-18 years and also ran her own after school Contemporary Glee Club (One Voice) aimed at primary school age children before joining the Thriller Live cast full time in 2014.

After a break from teaching Shanice is looking forward to working with her students again, inspiring them and sharing her further developed skills and experience. Shanice teaches using a bespoke lesson plan that is tailored to each student and their goals.  Shanice can teach many genres but specialises in the more contemporary styles e.g. Pop/Soul/Gospel & also Musical Theatre and is keen for her students to find their own voices, helping them to build their vocal confidence and performance techniques. Sharing her own experiences, Shanice can help prepare students with their entrance exams for Music & Performance education and for major auditions in shows such as BGT and XFactor ensuring they feel relaxed and confident in their abilities and informing them as to how best navigate the process, handle the nerves/stage fright and best present themselves.

Shanice firmly believes in vocal health, vocal control and technique. It's about learning how your voice works best for you. Belting at full pelt for impact does not necessarily equate to a great vocalist, but that dynamics and control are the best ways to deliver vocals or a song without long term damage to your vocal health. Most importantly - Singing should always be fun and enjoyable.

DBS accredited. Shanice can teach Vocal Lessons from her home studio or by arrangement in the pupils home. Lessons are taught using backing tracks in the main and can include recording facilities where appropriate. Block bookings preferred and days/times negotiable according to Shanice's availability and performance schedule.
